Microplissè and Collars 2009

Microplissé and Collars consists of 6 jewels in microplissé, 8 prints of collars, 8 prints of poetry-cases. 

Microplissè and Collars explores the evolution between a textile accessory and a jewel, playing around the body and the wearability of textile. The pieces arise from an intersection of materials and processes, both digital and craft. The same mixing takes place between different techniques such as tailoring sartorial techniques, digital prints, industrial chemical cutting, laser cutting, 3D prototyping. Each piece is produced in a numbered and limited serie.
